Our Vision

Our vision is to provide care for the whole person – physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially. To provide community care with community driven solutions for health and well-being. We see a growing need for education and preventative practices to ensure improved and continued health among the local population.

At present

Here is the plan for the facility to house the majority of our health programs. The bricks are being made, the site is set and our team is developing the curriculum we will be offering. It will include areas such as Eyecare, Dental care, Nutritional Training, Health and Preventative measures and Dispelling Health myths.

Why are we doing this?

Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world which directly affects how much the country can spend on healthcare. The combination of HIV/AIDs, infectious disease, malnutrition, and limited access to health care puts all Malawians at extreme risk – but especially its youngest. Nearly 40% of children are stunted by malnutrition – a challenge felt across the country, but most intensely in rural areas where poverty is extreme and food supplies more limited. Almost one-quarter of all preventable child deaths are related to undernutrition.

In Memory

Two incredibly special people, a mother and son who impacted the world in such a positive way were taken from us too soon. Two years ago, Victoria passed away after a battle with cancer and this past year Gabriel’s life tragically ended due to a car accident.

Gabe and Victoria both had a caring heart for people both here and as humanitarians in missions in Malawi, Africa. Victoria loved the babies and would often say she wanted to just pack them up and take them home to love. Gabe was excited by his volunteer time in the Nkhoma Hospital and grateful for the chance to provide medical care to those in need. He often spoke about returning to Malawi after he became a doctor to provide care to the poor.
