Gabriel and Victoria Dix Medical Center Malawi Africa

Two incredibly special people, a mother and son who impacted the world in such a positive way taken from us too soon. Two years ago, Victoria passed away after a battle with cancer and last week Gabriel’s life tragically ended from a car accident.

Gabe and Victoria both had a heart for caring for people both here and as humanitarians in missions in Malawi, Africa. Victoria loved the babies and would often say she wanted to just pack them up and take them home to love. She helped nurture babies to health in the Infant Rescue program supported by Stand as One Ministry. Gabe was excited by his volunteer time in the Nkhoma Hospital and how grateful he was to provide medical care to those in need. He often spoke about returning to Malawi after he became a doctor to provide care to the poor.

We are building and a Medical Center at the Stand as One Ministry Chisomo Training Center in Malawi, Africa in memory of Victoria and Gabriel.  The center will provide the community with primary health care and education to local Malawians.
